The fraternal brotherhood within Triangle Fraternity lasts a lifetime. While members come from various backgrounds and beliefs, they are all guided by common interests, values, and ideals. All brothers hold themselves to high moral standards, striving to be the best they can in order to build a better world for the future.
The national philanthropy of Triangle Fraternity is FIRST®, an international non-profit organization with a mission to inspire PreK-12 students to be engaged in science and technology through mentor-based robotics programs. Triangle spearheads various fundraising campaigns for local FIRST programs annually. Separately, funds are raised annually for the Nationwide Children's Hospital Memorial Foundation via the Extra Life movement.
Community service is a crucial aspect of Triangle Fraternity, with brothers combining for hundreds of hands-on service hours each semester. Triangle is dedicated to connecting with both on-campus organizations and external organizations within the Columbus area to provide service opportunities for brothers.
As a fraternity of engineers, architects, and scientists, Triangle cares about the success of brothers in securing full time work, internships, co-ops, research positions, and other professional pursuits. Through events such as resume review workshops, mock interview sessions, and elevator pitch practices, brothers are well-prepared for career fairs and future pursuits.
Due to Triangle's exclusivity to engineers, architects, and scientists, many brothers currently take or have already taken similar classes. This allows for group study sessions and the transfer of knowledge between older and younger members. Additionally, scholarship opportunities are provided annually by both our local chapter and the national Triangle Education Foundation.
Triangle Fraternity provides its members with many leadership opportunities, beginning during the pledging process with a New Member Education program. Brothers are able to run for various executive board positions locally and participate in leadership development programs hosted across the country by the national organization.
Brothers of Triangle Fraternity are provided many opportunities to grow socially. Meeting new people is very easy through social, philanthropy, service, academic, and other events. In recent years, Triangle has partnered with various on-campus organizations and other Greek organizations, including our sister sorority Phi Sigma Rho (ΦΣΡ), women's fraternity Alpha Omicron Pi (ΑΟΠ), and men's fraternity Phi Sigma Kappa (ΦΣΚ).
