Scholarships
Triangle Fraternity offers both internal scholarships and external scholarships. Internal scholarships are open only to active brothers to help offset the cost of chapter dues and school fees. External scholarships are provided to both men and women outside of Triangle and are merit-based.
External Scholarships
Triangle & Phi Sigma Rho Educational Outreach Scholarship (Fresh / Soph)

Deadline: Friday, October 1, 2021
Eligibility Criteria:
1. An Ohio State University student enrolled in STEM major
2. Freshman or sophomore full time student
3. Evidence of sound academic achievement (>3.0 GPA)
4. Commitment to community improvement i.e. philanthropy or extra curricular leadership
Phi Sigma Rho is a social sorority for women in engineering, engineering technology, and related STEM fields based on the ideals of friendship, scholarship, and encouragement. Triangle Fraternity is a fraternity for men that provides a social, educational, and professional resource for engineers, scientists, and architects while in pursuit of their careers in STEM.
Phi Sigma Rho and Triangle Fraternity are honored to offer four merit-based scholarships for first and second year STEM majors.
Ohio State Triangle FIRST Scholarship (Incoming Freshmen)

Amount : 2, $1,000 scholarships
Deadline: Friday, September 3, 2021
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Must be a current member or alumnus of a FIRST Robotics Competition or FIRST Tech Challenge team
2. Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
3. Must be a current high school senior or recent high school graduate (incoming freshman), accepted or currently enrolled at The Ohio State University in the fall of 2021.
4. Must intend to pursue a major/concentration relating to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics)
The Ohio State University Chapter of Triangle Fraternity is honored to continue this legacy by offering two (2) $1,000 scholarships for students of FIRST robotics as they seek continuing education in STEM areas at The Ohio State University. Every year, the Ohio State chapter of Triangle offers local, merit-based scholarships to active brothers. The amount offered varies from year to year and depends on chapter operations and amount of applicants (typically around $20,000 total).
National Scholarships
Multiple need-based scholarships and graduate fellowships are offered by the national Triangle Education Foundation (TEF) for members of all Triangle chapters. All scholarships typically require a minimum GPA of 3.0 / 4.0 necessary for consideration. More information can be found on the TEF website: http://www.triangleef.org/how-we-help/scholarships.
Other National Financial Aid Programs
The Triangle Education Foundation (TEF) offers both emergency no-interest student loans for all active brothers and an income sharing agreement program (ISA) for seniors in their fourth or fifth year of college.
